So my son turned one I decided to throw him a Mickey Mouse themed party. Which I was very excited about. As you will soon come to see I'm all about party planning as well!! I feel like the heart of the party is all in the details!! Thank god for Pinterest cause it has sparked a creativity inside me I didn't know existed. Anywho, so I decided I wanted to do these Mickey Mouse Oreo cookie pops. I saw a picture of them and I absolutely fell in love! And they were so easy to make also!!
What you'll need:
- Regular Oreo Cookies
- Mini Oreo Cookies
- Candy Melts (you can buy these in Party City, they have all sorts of colors)
- Treat bags
- Lollipop sticks
What to do:
- Separate all the mini Oreos and remove the cream from the middle
- Melt the 'Candy Melts' on the stove over very low fire. ***BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVER COOK*** The consistency can get ruined over a matter of minutes.
- Separate the regular sized Oreos and press the mini Oreos on the top portion of the Regular sized Oreo to give the illusion of ears
- Place a dime size portion of the Candy Melt in the middle of the Oreo
- Place the lollipop stick in the center part of the cookie
- Press the other have of the Oreo down and hold for a few seconds
These are the cutest little favors for the kiddies and they love them! Enjoy!!
Peace & Love
